GYBR is a delightful album. It has some silly songs but it also has unappreciated great songs like Sweet Painted Ladies and Your Sister Can't Twist. Songs like Danny Bailey and the title song continues Taupin's facination with rural America from the earlier albums, and no one can do soppy and sentimental like EJ (Harmony). It has the hits, and even that damn thing about MM. No one needs to say that EJ was at his best when Taupin was writing the lyrics...so I won't. All the Girls Love Alice: is that a little bit naughty? Its a great record so I'm going to "get about as oiled as a diesel train" and give it another listen. Thanks for reminding me about it...bye.
