From Classic Rock to Progessive to hip hop to today's hot new tunes!

For 45 years now, Dan Fogelberg's "Longer" has been a lite rock staple, here in cool, breezy, and sometimes foggy San Francisco.

But unbeknownst to us, Fogelberg actually drew inspiration to write "Longer," while he was vacationing in Maui. My paternal grandfather's clan was from Maui (above). Anyway, "Longer" is simply acoustic guitar, flugelhorn (played by Jerry Hey), and harp. Peaking at #2, "Longer" was kept out of the #1 slot by Pink Floyd's "Another Brick In The Wall" and Queen's "Crazy Little Thing Called Love."
