All right! I'm not the only one, who makes a mess at the bathroom sink.

When my relatives renovated their bathroom a few years ago, the contractor used granite countertops, and called that color "black star."

Sorry, we don't have any photos from 1985. But 40 years ago, my older cousins went to USF (University of San Francisco), above.

It was those cousins, who introduced me to something new: Yngwie Malmsteen's "Black Star." We didn't know it at the time, but this was the burgeoning "neo-classical" metal instrumental. And when you hear it now, it sometimes feels as fresh as, if not 1985, clean laundry.
