At the end of 1994, high-end audio seemed like it was experiencing runaway growth.
At the end of 1994, the Bay Area received a lot of rain. We didn't exactly "run away," but did hit Monterey and Carmel, both during the rain and in a break.
At this time, Real McCoy had an international hit, with "Another Night." The follow-up, "Run Away," was also very enjoyable.
Back in San Francisco, my girlfriend ACS broke away from being a senior at UC Berkeley. We went to Audio Excellence to check out, among other things, the CAL Delta CD transport. We did play Real McCoy's "Run Away." Afterward, we didn't "run away," but drifted off, to Jackson Square, to discuss the Delta. That Delta was one of the few CD transports, which did justice to Eurodance, such as "Run Away."
