You hardly see UC Santa Cruz's McHenry Library from its rear. But if you go to the first floor, you can see the little Grateful Dead archives.

Forget the archives. 35 years ago, I was a student at UCSC. Yeah, yeah, many of our parents were Dead Heads. But on account of MTV, the Dead's "Foolish Heart" was well-known, on campus. My roommate, Josh, would cut classes, and attend Grateful Dead concerts. Yup, he came back, reeking of pot.
