35 years ago, I went with dormmies to Santa Cruz's Marianne's ice cream. We liked Whitesnake's "Now You're Gone." Lyrically, it was about doing stupid things in a relationship, getting dumped, and asking for a second chance. Some of my dormmies had never had a boyfriend in the first place. Yet, "Now You're Gone" made it feel as though they did, and wanted the ex-boyfriend back!

All these years later, regardless of subject matter, "Now You're Gone" still makes my wife rock out!
