Overkill, "Time To Kill"

Depressing. After the October 1989 earthquake, and we were let back into our dorms, we faced daunting cleanup. We had to replace a few items and supplies, but when we went into Santa Cruz, the town's retail establishments were sidelined.

But we did get new music, and we liked Overkill's The Years Of Decay, which sort of captured the state of our town.

Depressing. In the quake's aftermath, we had a hard time, concentrating on academics. So, Overkill's "Time To Kill" sort of capture our mood.

Since we had time to kill, we went to the on-campus gym. Even if there were no machines, we just lay on the floor, and did stretching exercises.

So when we hear Overkill's "Time To Kill" now, we are actually glad, that we have moved past the '89 quake, and are bracing for the next Big One. We wish more rock music were as good as "Time To Kill."
