5 years ago, the hot and dry weather did not prevent us from going out. Without fog, San Francisco was golden.
We went to SoCal, where Pinkberry had originated, and still had a presence. Here, SoCal's Sugar Ray had a new album, Little Yachty.
Sugar Ray had decided to go late-70s/early-80s "yacht rock." A good example was "California Gold." While listening to this, we got that popular California food, poke bowl.
We then went to Lake Tahoe. No, we did not go on yachts, or any other boat, for that matter. My wife felt that Sugar Ray's "California Gold" was following in the footsteps of Pilot's "Magic." But then we started to hear about this thing called COVID-19, and the yacht rock of "California Gold" sailed away.
