Ah, Lake Merced. It sits across the street from my old high school. When I was there in the late-80s, no one had heard of Dragon Boat racing.

Instead, it was about our dances. And that's where we first heard Stevie B's freestyle classic, "Spring Love." Such a song caused us to reminisce about love from the previous spring. Oh wait, we didn't have any loves! S'okay, we still love the song, which is arguably more popular now, than it was in '88.
