He'eia is a town on Oahu's windward side. But in traditional song, it was about surfing. 25 years ago, Hapa came out with their chant-like version of "He'eia." Because a few audiophiles are senior citizens, they can benefit from surfing in small waves. And if they are nowhere near surf, they can still enjoy "He'eia."
