One of the greatest musicians I've ever had the honor of hearing live-
his solo performance at Davies Symphony Hall in November 2008
was nothing short of phenomenal.

Saw him with his band a few years later and that also was brilliant.

As a Griot he shared his tremendous gifts, warm personality and
rich spirit across the world and left a legacy of incredible recordings
to enrich our lives.

Truly a giant talent. Thank you.
