"Some Kind Of Wonderful" was from Joss Stone's debut album, which was all-covers. Pretty amazing, she was just 16, when that came out.
My friends didn't really pick up on Joss Stone, until she came out with the album proper, Mind Body & Soul. Here, she wrote some of the material. Although it had singles and hits, it was "Killing Time," which stood out to me.
At this time, some of our younger relatives were in high school. Hmmm, Joss Stone herself might also have been in high school.
My wife's niece, who was one of our bridesmaids, was a student at UC Berkeley. She said that Joss Stone was relatively popular there. Presently, the niece likes Stone's "When You're In Love," from 2022.
We're not sure how well-known Joss Stone is among audiophiles, so thank you for bringing her up.
