which reminded me just how far the literal description of "amateur" - ie one who undertakes an action purely for the love of it, rather than for any material gain - can result in absolutely excellent performances, where the spiritual and emotional "connection" between the music and the performers is almost palpable...And since I maintain that the spiritual and emotional components in the music essentially define the worth of a performance.......
Being involved in such performances can be truly life-enhancing experiences, and all involved with helping to communicate the love of music to others deserve much appreciation...
I wish your sister and all others involved every success in having their CD more widely known and appreciated, and will certainly consider purchasing a copy myself...
