Ho was an interesting guy. All I saw was the Vegas-esque act, but seems there was more to him. His heritage was Korean-Chinese-Dutch-German- and a couple of other cultures. After seeing Hawaiian U.S involvement during WWII, he joined the Air Force and flew transport planes during the Korean War between Honolulu and Tokyo.
He was a football jock, recruited by colleges. He went to college in Springfield Mass. on a football scholarship for awhile, but got homesick and returned to Waikiki to help his parents run the bar business. He started performing at his folks place. He finished a Bachelor's Degree at U. of Hawaii, in sociology.
He seldom left Hawaii after that. Celebs, dignitaries and tourists by the thousands always took in Ho's show in Waikiki.
Tiny Bubbles indeed. The guy had some depth. Quite a life.
