I was hoping that it would either use the new critical edition premiered by Kenneth Schermerhorn and the Nashville Symphony Orchestra, or at the least would incorporate aspects of it. Instead, it's another conductor trying to outdo Bernstein. If you want Ives Symphony No.2 a la Bernstein, then just buy one of Bernstein's two recordings of the 2nd.
