Certainly very striking dissonances. I can see why these sounds would carry long distances outdoors. There's also a Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 which I never got.This music sounded rather bright and harsh over previous speakers (I'm not sure I ever heard them with my penultimate ones--I hadn't heard this CD for years). The dissonances sound much better on my current current speakers. Now that I have listened to this CD again, I'll keep Vols. 2 and 3 on my acquisition list awaiting a good price.
