What an outstanding artist. I love that work, and he played it with a contagious sense of verve and remarkable sensitivity. I had no idea he was that good. It was a smallish crowd because we're under a tornado warning, but the reception was so warm, he did an encore, a movement from Ysaye's Sonata No. 2. Quite absorbing. If you have a chance to hear him, don't miss it.
