Yeah, I'm out here too and my only gripe is that Prairie Home Companion is still on the radio. At what point does charm cross the line and become self-parodying egotism? At this point. GK was sort of funny about ten years ago when the Lake Wobegone thing was fresh; but it got old real fast. I have the sense that I'm in a tiny minority but I've wanted to say this for years. So now I've said it. Maybe it's a Mid-Western thing and I'm just too Eastern for my own good. But Clark's from Iowa (?) and I like him. If there's somebody out there who doesn't think I'm just a crank and who can explain this man's ongoing appeal, speak up, please. Shaggy Dogs are boring and take up too much time.
