The wife gets President's day off, so I'm taking the day off and we're travelling to KC for a long weekend. We picked KC becuase I spent the 70's there, we haven't visited for ~15 years, and we scored some cheap e-fares.Looking for things to do I saw that WR is at the Blue Room this Sat. night, which is attached to the American Jazz Museum. This is all new since I was in KC, so I'm looking forward to seeing all the sites.
I'm not very familiar with WR, but looking here I picked up some mixed "reviews." I'm hoping Geri Allen is touring with him. Any insights to his current tour would be appreciated.
