#1 has that crisp VG sound and accuracy but I'm not real sure because that cat used a lot of instrumental variations in his bands.

Pretty insteresting but tough for anyone not deep into this type of music. I know some younger cats who are capable of that #2 thing but I really can't be sure about that either. I know NP has paid tribute to older cats but so far I'm stumped like most everybody else. I could throw some names around but they would be guesses to the extreme.
