My one and only James Brown show was at Carter Baron Amphitheater somewhere around 1970. I remember the performance more than the music. The band amped it up to get the crowd going. JB appears off stage right with a fine looking entourage. He gets played onto the stage as the ladies remove his robe/cape and then things really got moving.The only show I saw at Howard was a Redd Foxx late show. I, the white boy, was taken by friends to the show and it was funny.
