I have it. However, I never owned the original vinyl issue to compare. The sound of the 40th anniversary reissue is forward, in your face, like most amplified shows. Judy Garland practically sits in your lap, which, were it not Carnegie Hall, might be highly desirable. Nevertheless, it is a highly enjoyable recording with an adoring audience, and a very agile orchestra conducted by Mort Lindsey. My favorite is Gershwin and DeSylva's "Do It Again."
