The sixties and early seventies were a time of unusual productivity and creativity in pop-rock music.I lived through that era and did not discover some great music from back then until decades later. Case in point, the Velvet Underground and Nico.
And I'm still discovering stuff. Just last week I got a CD compilation of Canned Heat. Really great boogie blues album. Ok, I knew of them back then, but only two songs: Up the Country and On the Road Again.
