I had forgotten that Szell did the VPO record then went back to Clev. to do 2 LP's (some say they're showing his age and effects of cancer), and then was recorded on tour by the Japanese on that incredible recording of the Sibelius 2 and other material (he knew the end was near?). At the end, he's photographed with the 2 Japanese flower girls, a scenario staged by the photographer.
