If you don't mind some interrruptions from a great trumpet player. check out "Max & Dizzy: Paris 1989". Max Roach is one of the few jazz drummers who consistently constructs solos that make sense rather than a lot of noise.Personally I can hardly imagine sitting through an entire set of solo drums, but that's a quirk, I suppose.
