I have some recordings on the old Everest Concert-Disc LPs with Leonare Sorkin and Abram Loft, violins; George Stanick, viola; and George Sopkin, cello. Of the Beethoven series, I have only the Quartet in F, Opus 59, No. 1, which is excellent. The few Concert-Disc recordings I have are very fine, and their LP of the Debussy and Ravel Quartets are as fine as I have heard. The original quartet was formed in 1946 and of course, the personnel has changed completely since then. I have never heard the group in its current incarnation, but the group is still active doing concerts and recordings..
I have linked the Wikipedia article and it contains a further link to the FA Quartet's website.
