are his Clarinet Sonatas. My favorite recording is by David Shifrin and Carol Rosenberger who "recreate a Brahms/Schumann Soiree" as was performed in the home of Clara Schumann on November 13, 1894. It includes both clarinet sonatas and Schumanns Fantasiestucke Op73. This is a Delos CD that is no longer in print but if you can find it used its worth looking for. But anyway the sonatas are great.I'd also recommend that you check out his solo piano works. These are some of my favorite Brahms works by some margin. If you're up to it there is a complete set put out by London with Julius Katchen which has been in the catalog for over 40 years - its that good! There is a budget 6CD set well worth the nominal price. But if you just want to sample you must hear his Sonata #3 and his Op117 intermezzos.
Hope that helps a bit.......
