Eventually, this thread will include a mention of almost every one in the catalogue.The recorded Rite that MTT/SFS issued a few years back is well worth having. I would call it a highly nuanced performance that captures a lot of orchestral color and rhythmic complexity of the work, but not as much of the sheer primitive power as some others. It comes coupled with a fine Firebird and the seldom-heard Persephone. Recording quality is quite good.
