That can and will be rectified. ;) I'll take care to stay away from his solo sax works and concentrate more on his compositional genius for string quartet and other more classical oriented music with perhaps a visit to his Masada band or his tribute to Sonny Clark. The nice thing about his music is it's so diverse and I'd have trouble believing that any music lover could miss finding something of his they enjoy. He is the single most influential musician in my life. The disc Colbert chose is essentially a live version of his "Classic Guide to Strategy" which is certainly one of his most difficult works but if you've absorbed Braxton's "For Alto", you'll catch the influence and impetus.
