It's all about the music, dude! Sit down, relax and listen to some tunes.

These should be pretty painless & accessible, if that's what you're asking for:

Sergei Rachmaninoff Piano Concertos, (Piano) Etudes Tableaux

Ralph Vaughn-Williams - Symphony #2 "London", Symphony #6 (almost any of the symphonies actually), The Lark Acending, Variations on Theme of Thomas Tallis, most any of his songs or vocal music is simply gorgeous. Actually, almost everything he wrote is quite lovely and easy on the ear - but without being insipid or merely pretty.

William Walton - Symphony #1, Viola Concerto

Francis Poulenc - Concerto for 2 Pianos, Organ Concerto

Prokofiev - Symphony #1 "Classical", Violin Concerto #2, most of the piano concertos

Samuel Barber - Violin Concerto, Essays for Orchestra (especially #2), any of the songs (Knoxville especially, plus there is a great double CD with Cheryl Studer and Thomas Hampson), Adagio for Strings or the quartet from which it is derived, Overture to The School For Scandal

Bartok - Concerto for Orchestra (there's a great recording by CSO & Reiner which also had the music for STrings, Percussion & Celeste), Violin Concerto #2 (I don't actually care for The Miraculous Mandarin)

Copland - Symphony 2, ballets to Rodeo & Billy The Kid, Music for Films such as The Red Pony, Our Town

Hanson - Romantic Symphony

Peter Mennin - hard to find but worth it

Respighi - Pines of Rome, Ancient Airs & Dances, The Byrds

Britten - War Requiem, Four Sea Interludes from Peter Grimes

David Diamond - Violin Concerto

Charles Ives - Three Places in New England, Symphonies

William Schuman - New England Tryptich

Schoenberg - Transfigured Night

John Corigliano - Red Violin, and the piece he distilled from The Ghosts of Versailles whose name escpaes my at the moment

Lowell Liebermann - Piano Concertos

Stravinsky - Pulcinella Suite, Symphony in C, The Rakes Porgress and the ballets: Firebird, Rite of Spring, Petrouchka, Fairy's Kiss etc.

Bernstein: Chichester Psalms

John Adams - A Short Ride In A Fast Machine, Violin Concerto

There's lots more but I have to go.
