I try to get the vinyl or cd as much as possible. But more and more, artists are releasing albums strictly in lossy download format. You can't get the uncompressed cd, because there isn't one.

I am capable of a few formats, whether vinyl, cassette, SACD, CD, 24/96. I'm just angry and hate to support the artists when there is no uncompressed version.

But that is the way it is headed, and there are people today who have never heard uncompressed CD.
