Thanx for the tip. I did not know about that program - will definitely check it out.

I am only just getting into ambient. I have had some Eno and Budd that I like and thought it time to look into the genre a little deeper, especailly the more subtle, tuneful, organic and perhaps darker strains, starting with further look into Budd and Eno. I may extend to other 'sound scape' stuff in the near future...

Coincidentally, it was your recommendation of The Pearl by Budd/Eno/Lanois that has encouraged me to give ambient another look. The Pearl is an amazing album; instantly more moving than much of the stuff I have listening to of late. Although not ambient as such, Budd's la bella vista is a subtle, minimal, emotional album. A great album - at least for me with my limited exposure to piano music.
