I attended a Steve Miller Band concert in Phoenix almost a year ago... During its performance of "Fly Like an Eagle," the keyboard player actually broke out into this rap rendition of the music. The one thing I'll never forget was how many in the crowd reacted with "boos" and "hisses".... I think the keyboardist wanted to introduce the genre to the audience, but didn't expect such a cold reaction to it.

If this particular "live" version is released on a CD, you may have some rap done by a classic rock artist, albeit not pure country. (SMB kind of does some "borderline" country.)
