So I've been listening to the Future Sound of London's ISDN album in the car the last two days and began wondering what I ever saw in it.Is it me, or do they simply throw samples around just for the sake of doing so. Most of the tracks on that particular album never go anywhere. It is simply a collage of samples buried under reverb and delay. There are one or two stand out tracks, but the rest is...boring.
I need to go back and listen to some of their other work and see if it is holding up any better.
Thoughts...anyone?
