I don't like it nearly as much as Sounds from the Thievery HiFi, DJ Kicks or Mirror Conspiracy. Perhaps, it's not quite up to the Richest Man in Babylon either, - but it's right around there. If you're a Thievery fan you'll like it, - if you're luke warm about them, - then I can see you getting bored. It is pretty much more of the same. I do feel like they have other places to go with the music, and more room: in other words, they played it pretty safe.
If you can get your hands on the "Dubbed Out in DC" compilation, (Pre-Thievery Corporation), that CD shows really shows a couple of interesting possibilities....
is this the real me, or a mere facsimile?
