Cut Copy vs. The Presets

Hi all

I don't post on here often, tho just happened across the two very recent releases from Oz bands that may not be on the radar in other countries, but deserve a listen. They both fit the difficult-to-categorise electro-beats 80s-borrowing pop-ish genre. At this point, Cut Copy's 'In Ghost Colours' strikes as the more appealing and accessible (and instantly danceable in a none-too-serious way), tho I feel The Presets' 'Apocalypto' may be the 'grower' with long-term appeal (a little more austere and darker).

Give 'em crack.

Edit: Just realised what Cut Copy reminds me of - a couple of artists that were on the (early) Volition Label, namely Severed Heads and Box Car... tho are undoubtedly more pop-ish than the Heads.
