I didn't mean to be too far-reaching with that post. I was just thinking about those things as buying the Editors, the National, and somewhat, - Interpol. All of those new bands, (including Sigur Ros), as people have said, have some heavy Joy Division and somewhat Echo and the Bunnyman influences. But they are "different" enough to me.. (to make them so much better than the bands like Stone Temple Pilots, Creed, Nickelback, the Wallflowers, and that other wretched band, (oh, Matchbox20) that've all been copying, really blatantly, Pearl Jam).
Or, do i just love the old late 70s, early 80s, stuff and hold it higher regard?
Combative and hostile is a great way to describe Prodigy.
