This may be the best performance I've heard of this work......
What sets this performance apart to me is the phrasing and balance, this piece comes off too often as "brassy", "muscular", "rushed", and/or "choppy"...... The balance amongst the brass, winds, and percussion is off the charts, it really captured the "mood" of this unique work, to full effect.
