Although Fischer's Eroica was released this past year (2024), I have not heard it yet. I have Fischer's album of Beethoven's Fourth and Sixth Symphonies, as well as his album which includes Beethoven's Seventh Symphony. (All on SACD.)
I just checked Apple Music, and the Fischer Eroica is only available in 2Ch via streaming, so, similar to what you did with the SACD, I'll have to download it from Native DSD in order to get anything more "spatial". ;-)
I agree with you that, in general, Channel Classics engineering just gets better and better, and I look forward to hearing this recording myself! BTW, what did you think of the Coriolan Overture on this album?
