I've run into that quite often over the years with different products.
I always keep old ones on hand rather than throw away, but they don't necessarily fit well either.
When the hole in the spray head is too small I find it just needs to be reamed out with a drill bit. Either by hand or a Dremel.
If too big you can try enlarging one end of the straw by inserting an awl or dental pick. Heating up the straw end and tool makes it easier to do. Hairdryer works.
