After months of work, my hand made twin dual drawer, food, CD and record demagnetizer / de-polarizer cabinets were done and it makes a huge difference especially with very out of date food.
My processing center;
Top shelf, the stereo i inherited with some cool speakers and those bulb amplifiers.
The rest we re-purposed to make the stereo simpler.
The lower stuff supplies the pure 60Hz power the demagnetizers need, draws a steady 300W each 24hr a day to preserve the music inside (I was saddened to find it's NOT for cassettes or vhs tapes you want to keep).
I got special cables for them too so they work real good
I made the demagnetizers out of cutoff aluminum scraps from work that i would take home from work under my jacket or in my boots. Internal wire was stripped from a medical imaging machine that was open and being serviced at work so it's all the best stuff inside.
These are 100% hand crafted too, i have no power tools and took a lot of work and glue.
My Ex even said the pounding and shaping the aluminum in the corners was "the last straw" and made several other hurtful remarks when she left. Took the TV remote too.
Good riddance too, Now i can sit back de mag my burrito and listen to my classic rock FM. Maybe buy a couple records for the cool lighted turn table, found the on switch today..
Life is good now, stitches out next week and i can get another job.
