HOLO RED owners question

Just received this device and loving it.

I noticed, though, that when I power it up and the rest of the music chain (DAC + amp) is already on, I get a rather loud scratchy POP, almost like a cat spitting, in one speaker only. This can obviously be avoided by turning the streamer on first and the amp last, but I'd like to know if that's normal.

It's a rather unpleasant sound, more than the usual pop some equipement makes, and I'm worried it's on one channel only, it could mean the Red is protected against that, but that the protection failed on one channel.

After that, the device works without a glitch.

I'd love to hear from users to see if I need to return it or not.
