One thing I've always been a bit confused by is adding an outboard DAC when the host player is an SACD deck. It's my understanding that if I add an outboard DAC to my existing Marantz SACD player, I forfeit the ability to play sacd's, is that correct? Are there any new DAC's that will pass the SACD signal? Any advice/guidance is very much appreciated.
