in the form of their new 5 box - yes 5 - DAC! Couldn't find a price, but given the prices on other dCS product, you know it won't be a low low $5995! You probably can't even get the cabling for that!
Check the dCS website for more particulars. Also seems dCS has a large dealer network, so if you just have to know the price, or have a demo, it shouldn't be a problem. Assuming there are any of these things actually on the ground at this time ...
As re: price, if you have to ask then you can't afford it, I suppose. And I'm guessing the target market is crazy rich Asians and Russians, but who knows, maybe there are enough crazy rich Americans who will buy this. I won't be one of them, however. One wonders, does dCS this we are suckers?
5 boxes? What could possibly go wrong in a setup this complex? And if something does, does dCS or its dealer have techs on standby to fly to your home to investigate and fix?? After all, you will have paid handsomely for this rig.
