Do you know about the M disc writeable dvds? The M means they are working toward a 1000 year life for that media. They hold 4.7GB of data. Prices run from $3 to $5 a disc. Drives start at $20. You need a drive that includes M drive ability.
There is a 128GB version with $10 discs that are good for 50 years. A Pioneer-BR drive with the unit, software, and 10 discs is $215.
