Incoming everSOLO DMP-A8

Hi All,

As I found out about this hitting the market soon, I personally feel having spent $6500 over the course of the last two years on an Aurender music server | having gone through 3 different DACs, if said design was only available sooner, I'd have been more than content using it as is.

And while I've noticed more often than not, many tend to use said streamer | music server | DAC and preamp type of units as a transport tied to an external DAC, yet for the life of me I've to wonder why?, as I'd like to think any designer of said wares should be aware of all the sonic differences that exist in DAC chips beforehand | use what said company feels offers the overall best result from their products which are voiced accordingly, and while I've used my everSOLO DMP-A6 internal DAC into the Aurender X100L, and found the overall sound to be extremely pleasant, I felt it took away the signature of the everSOLO to much by adding the warmer sounding signature of the latter..., and while I've owned several R2R based DAC designs, I once again have to stress that to my ears | senses | in my system the use of dual Saber ES 9038Q2M chips have a sound to which I simply adore..., the added sense of scale | weight | low end detailing capabilities | extended real sounding top end with an even greater sense of presence merely brings me to tears with each listening session | as if my entire music collection is heard anew.

So what this says in my case is, I'm very very content in living with it as is, no external DAC needed, which again allows me to simplify things in such a manner where feeling the need to continue buying usb cables which use different metal types, has become a thing of the past, as all that's needed is simply plugging into one's preamp or integrated amp(s) in my case and allow oneself to washed over by its sense of proper playback abilities on its own merit.

I personally have come to believe that of late, the asking price of $2000 for a sort of all in one type of device is the sweet spot, and where I personally feel as if I'd tap out and never regret it.
