Levinson 30 and 31 - downgrade parts

I recently bought an ML 31 transport (working) and 30 DAC (not working). While I am waiting for them to arrive, I figured I'd hunt around for spares. It occurs to me that some people must have upgraded these units to 30.5/31.5 and 30.6 versions.
So I am wondering if anyone still has their old parts that were taken out to do the upgrades. Were these field upgraded, with the old parts still sitting around at with the user or dealer, or did the units go back to Levinson?
