I experimented with several pieces of digital coax when I bought my DAC2, and I think I may have a post detailing my findings somewhere here on the Asylum. Copper sounded warm but slow. Silver was fast and detailed but the sound became fatiguing after awhile. I finally settled on a used piece of JPS superconductor coax. For my system, it was, and remains, the perfect fit. If you watch Audiogon, you may find one.As for interconnects between the DAC and preamp, I use Shunyata Aries. In my system, they are the best blend of neutrality and speed.
