If you like analog, smooth sound, you can try one of the nonoversampling dacs, like the MhDT labs around $250

I own a similar one that sounds very nonfatiguing and nice.

If you don't mind digital sound and want more punch and detail then something like the Channel Islands VDA-1 or 2 / $400 or less used.
