analog-to-digital converter for TV sound into Benchmark DAC1-USB

208.0.114.101

Howdy,

I'm looking for a CHEAP and simple solution to get the broadcast/cable TV audio out of either my cable box from the cable (preferred) or from my TV's analog outputs and ran into a Benchmark Dac-1 with USB I'll be purchasing shortly.

I want to run the Benchmark direct to my spectron amp (no preamp) and my only other source apart from the computer/server, which handles the music and movies/DVD's, is the rare, 1-2hrs a week of TV watching (addicted to 24 :). Anyone have a good, cheap solution?

Around $50 I see a number of converters on ebay, and would like to spend under $100 for this converter, seeing how little it will be used and the quality of the sound it will be extrapolating. Thanks!
